On the 29 December last I was seen by Dr John Garlick at the surgery; John's diligence, care and diagnostic ability was brilliant and supported by Angela Paddon sent me to the GWH where eight days on ICU improved my situation. I am certain without the care and professional ability shown by John Garlick the outcome would have been very different. Tim Ballard has created a practice which is outstanding, with Doctors of great ability supported by caring and professional nursing and support staff, efficiently managed by Keith. I attended the practice on Wednesday 25th November and was blown away by the high level of patient care - from both the GP that I saw and the reception staff. While in the waiting room, I began to feel very sick and was anxious at the prospect of being ill in front of the other attendees. I asked the receptionist for a bowl, and she promptly whisked me away to an empty room and provided me with a bowl and glass of water. The doctor collected me there, gave me a thorough exam, and provided me with very clear advice on diagnosis and treatment. I'm a relatively new patient to the surgery and so far have been really impressed with my experiences there. Thank to all of the staff.

I have seen various different nurses and doctors at this surgery for myself and with family members. Without exception, they have all been caring, listened well, given options for treatment or management of the health condition and been knowledgeable. All the Drs that I have seen have been reassuringly thorough with their consultation. When they have been unable to find a solution within the consultation they have found out from their colleagues and got back to me promptly with the information. Although it can sometimes difficult to get an appointment at a convenient time or to book ahead for routine appointments, they are well worth the wait! They are always extremely accommodating when an emergency appointment is needed, particularly when I have needed my children to be seen promptly. I would highly recommend this surgery.

It is absolutely impossible to see a doctor. Any doctor. Every SINGLE time I ring to make an appointment I'm told the next one is two weeks away. Now that's fine If i want my BP checked, or a flu jab. But not if I need to see a doctor about symptoms that aren't so emergent I would block somebody's emergency appointment, but not something Id be willing to leave for two weeks without treatment. Do NOT join this surgery, none of my friends have this problem.

Dr Nida Hussain has been brilliant - very thorough, more so perhaps than many other doctors (not just at this surgery). Getting an appointment took a while, but I wasn't in any hurry, so didn't mind waiting. The service we have had as a family from this surgery has been very variable and while I've had a great experience, two of my girls certainly haven't.
